
Currently, 95 percent of Rwandan pastors have not received any formal theological training. Africa College of Theology (ACT) will provide non-traditional Biblical education leading to an accredited Bachelor of Theology Degree for these pastors.
In 2011, Africa New Life will begin ACT classes in the Dream Chapel for 25 students. And construction on the ACT building begins this summer. In 2013, the ACT building will open its doors for the first time.
Already, volunteers from Multnomah University in Portland OR, collected and prepared a 15,000-volume theological library for the school. The library, which will be one of the largest in Rwanda, will provide unprecedented resources for pastors in Rwanda.
