CORE VALUES

Prayer – Phil. 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Integrity – Proverbs 10:9
The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out.

Love and Compassion – Matthew 25:35-40
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Then the righteous will answer him ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

Service – Mark 10:45
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Stewardship – 1 Corinthians 9:17
If I preach voluntarily, I have a reward; if not voluntarily, I am simply discharging the trust the trust committed to me.

Generosity – Mark: 12:41-44
Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into to the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins , worth only a fraction of a penny. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “ I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into to the treasury than all others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything-all she had to live on.”

Excellence – Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not men.

Team Work – Romans 12:4-8
Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if teaching let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3.
We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present rule as Head of the Church, and in His personal return in power and glory.

4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial, gender, and class difference.
